Teaching Little Athletics Fundamentals: Run, Jump, Throw Workshop (Dubbo)

This practical session will demonstrate some fun, safe, and effective ways to teach kids fundamental Little Athletics skills. The session will feature activities related to running, long jump, scissors high jump, discus, and shot put.

By the end of the session, you will have learned about:
- Skill-related games and challenges
- Basic event techniques
- Skill progression ideas
- Common technical faults
- Tips for coaching groups
- Safety considerations

Date: Friday, 3 March 2023
Time: 4.30pm – 6.00pm practical session, followed by an optional bonus 30-minute Q&A
Where: Barden Park Centre of Excellence, 33 Gipps Street, Dubbo
Who: Coaches, Little Athletics Age Managers, Teachers, Parents & anyone interested in teaching kids athletics skills
